THE GOOD TROUBLE Scholarship Foundation

Representative John Lewis, lived his entire life fighting for what was right. He left a legacy to be proud of.

We are going to continue his legacy by teaching our boys how to stand and fight for what they believe in and what is right!

We will work to honor a student each year with a scholarship to a  school  of their choice.

HISTORY

A lot of why our children are confused is the fact that they have no idea of their history.

Part of our program is to teach them their TRUE history so they can see where we have come from and where we need to go.

THEATER/ARTS

The arts are a large part of helping people deal with

their feelings and  showcasing their talents.

Today people  are dealing with a lot of  anger, depression, loneliness and lack of motivation.

Our program will be a place they can come to and act out those feelings, as well as learn theater etiquette, script and poetry writing.

RESPECT, VALUES

Our goal is to teach the children, self respect as well as respect for others. It is important to learn how to enter a room, how to look into someone's eyes when speaking, how to shake hands. The need to understand the importance of FAMILY and what part they play in that. They should know what is going on in their community and become a part of making it better

EMOTIONAL SUPPORT
